No Man's Land (2026)

Drawing on dislocated objects and inherited traditions to trace female migration, motherhood and memory across the Chinese diaspora, No Man’s Land creates a contemporary portrait of identity and belonging.

Lucky You (2024)

Lucky You builds on research relating to classical imperial Chinese porcelain wares, playfully examining motifs that grew out of feng shui beliefs, superstitions, and existential wishes for luck and fortune which have evolved to become part and parcel of the everyday furnishings of the Chinese diaspora.

A Room of One's Own (2023)

Named after the 1929 essay by the English writer Virginia Woolf, A Room of One's Own was inspired by the personal spaces that great women artists carved out for themselves. This series engages with Louise Bourgeois' idea of the Femme Maison and questions of female identity in the domestic and working spheres.

Home Sweet Home (2020)

Exploring material culture in contemporary life, Home Sweet Home combines the symbolism of traditional Western still life and interior genre painting with precious cultural objects and banal everyday paraphernalia, bringing together an eclectic range of stories about the world and contemporary lived experiences.
